Leon Valley is located within eight miles of the San Antonio International Airport and within 15 minutes of the Lackland Air Force Base, which is one of the largest employers in San Antonio with a population of 45,000 people. The City is just three miles from the South Texas Medical Center.

Leon Valley's primary Trade Area (PTA) encompasses approximately 88,730 and is projected to 94,314 by 2020.

The Leon Valley Economic Development Corporation, ANCIRA, HEB, Miracle Body & Paint, Leon Valley Storage and many other companies and organizations came together to sponsor this year's 4th of July celebration which took place at the City of Leon Valley, Raymond Rimkus Park.
